Salon and clinic space – Sophisticated Beauty now at Watermoor Point!

It’s important to remember that Watermoor Point offer more than just offices and warehousing for rent. Some of our occupiers are using their spaces as health clinics, beauty salons, counselling rooms and more!

Sophisticated Beauty is a beauty therapy business offering ‘maintenance beauty’ treatments, including lashes, waxing, nails and laser hair removal. Owner and beauty therapist, Sophie, has worked in the industry since she was 14 and has been running her own business for 8 years.

A new start

Sophie moved to Watermoor Point in Summer 2023, when her lease on her previous premises came up for renewal. Sophie explained:

“When my lease was ending, I decided that working in the town centre wasn’t working for me anymore. There were a lot of elements to working in the town centre that I didn’t like, so I wanted to find a new place to run my busy business from. A good friend who already had an office here recommended Watermoor Point.”

Flexible and secure

“I was looking for somewhere where the facilities and environment were safe. I work a lot of evenings and long hours, and where I was working before, I often had to walk through dark alleys and car parks to get to my car. Having a space that my clients and I can access easily in the evenings and feel safe and secure is brilliant.”

Free parking

“It was also really important to me that my new premises was central for my clients, and Watermoor Point is perfect for that! My clients have found it easily and they love that there is free parking.”

Since moving into her office, Sophie has made it feel calm and serene, and has really personalised the space. “I loved that the office was a blank canvas that I could make work for me, both aesthetically and functionally. Previously, I was in a space that was split up, I love that I now have one connected space all to myself where my clients feel comfortable.”

“The community is also amazing. The people in the offices around me are really friendly, it makes you feel really welcome. If I haven’t got clients and I leave the door open, people pop in and say hello, which is really lovely.”

“I also love that I can bring my dog Ronnie in to Watermoor Point! It’s such a lovely environment with loads of dogs around, I would definitely recommend it!”
